PERCUACTION Publisher
Welcome to PERCUACTION Publisher, our organization's department devoted to the creation, distribution and promotion of all the printed and online-related published materials, developed by our artistic team around the world as well as by some of the most well-known percussionists and drummers of our time.
Since our global launching in 2012, PERCUACTION's written and printed contents are at the core of our educational mission, for which our team of experts focuses day after day on creating and developing unique, innovative and integral published contents, that allow people around the world to approach rhythm from a completely new perspective, thus enhancing human potential and learning skills through an educational palette of possibilities that ranges from basic trainings in body percussion or object playing methods as well as traditional/classical percussion trainings to the advanced contents of concepts such as Rhythmnastics, Percrossings or Rhythmotions.
All of the PERCUACTION published materials are based on the Percuaction Curricular Pensum, from which we develop every social and educational initiative or project, most of which run through or in cooperation with the Global Rhythm Institute (GRI) and the Percuaction Foundation. Percusión Corporal
PERCUACTION's first and most famous method, based on our organization's educational curriculum. This initial volume of our own, integral and comprehensive body percussion system, initially released in Spanish, has benefited more than 50.000 people in 3 continents over the past few years.
Percusión con Objetos
One of the only publications in the world that explores, develops and makes accessible to the public the art of playing percussion with regular 'every-day' objects, an art that has made famous artists such as STOMP and Mayumana. This first volume initially released in Spanish has benefited more than 50,000 people in 3 continents over the past few years.
TGA 1
TGA1 is a comprehensive introductory teacher's guide, to the contents and concepts created and developed by PERCUACTION, with the intention to familiarize and orientate educators to deeply understand and make the most out of all the exposed potential in our books and methods. This first volume deals mainly with the contents developed in the initial books of PercBody, PercObjects and Rhythmotions.
Rhythmotions I
Rhythmotions is perhaps one of the most groundbreaking methods and concepts in modern artistic education, and slowly becomes a key referent among the few contemporary systems available today, that deal integrally and simultaneously with arts and education within a social-oriented context. The results obtained over the past years through the implementation of Rhythmotions allow to foresee an artistic/social future benefitted by its great influence.
Rhythmotions II
Rhythmotions II is the continuation of perhaps one of the most groundbreaking methods and concepts in modern artistic education, dealing integrally and simultaneously with arts and education within a social-oriented context. The results obtained since the initial launch and implementation of Rhythmotions in Latin America demonstrate the artistic and social value of this comprehensive and innovative rhythmic method.
Hands On Table (H.O.T.) is without a doubt one of PERCUACTION's most innovative, fun and unique rhythmic educational concepts, which emerges from the simple percussive and primal action of playing a surface. This interactive and exciting approach to rhythm has been introduced in Latin America in 2016 to the family of published materials created by our organization, and already promises to be one of the most in-demand general music education methods around schools in the upcoming years and decades
Perclassical
Perclassical is PERCUACTION's own classical method that deals with the nuts and bolts of symphonic percussion learning and playing in our contemporary era. The difference from other classical percussion books lays on the integral and modern approach to technique, and the connection to several styles, schools and teaching methods used over the past century.
Rhythmnastics
The benefits of Rhythmnastics are being experienced today by thousands of children in Latin America and will soon expand to other territories around the world due to the strong concept behind this educational method, which brings together the physical activity and exercise with the rhythmic practice, thus allowing participants to generate awareness about a healthy approach to the own self through the use and support from musical rhythm.
Percrossings
Percrossings deals specifically with a modern approach to ensemble playing and interaction. The interesting quality of its content is based on the fact of utilizing several genres and styles from different cultures around the world, which brings a whole new perspective and understanding of modern percussion and collective playing, while getting to know and connecting different voices that have shaped the rhythmic/percussion field over many centuries.
Figurhythms
Figurhythms is PERCUACTION's main method to learn how to read and write music notation using a fun and integral rhythmic approach. This specific contents are the result of an in-depth research of several years studying the teaching methods to read and write music used throughout the centuries in cultures around the world, and presents a thoughtful summary of contents into one easy-to-understand multilayer system.
Rhythmotions III
Rhythmotions III is the latest publication (2016) of perhaps one of the most groundbreaking methods and concepts in modern artistic education, dealing integrally and simultaneously with arts and education within a social-oriented context. The results obtained since the initial launch and implementation of Rhythmotions in Latin America demonstrate the artistic and social value of this comprehensive and innovative rhythmic method.
PercBody
PERCUACTION's first and most famous method Percusion Corporal - Volume 1, has been expanded into PercBody, the lastest body percussion creation by our artistic team, which besides including the original comprehensive body percussion system released in the first method, includes an even broader range of rhythmic cultures, grooves and exercises.
PercObjects II
The second volume of one of the only publications in the world that explores, develops and makes accessible to the public the art of playing percussion with regular 'every-day' objects, an art that has made famous artists such as STOMP and Mayumana.
